March 29
Isaiah 50:7-8 – The Lord GOD helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame; he who vindicates me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together. Who are my adversaries? Let them confront me.
We have been on a journey, and like most journeys it is tempting to take side roads, to become distracted. While some roads lead to deeper understanding, others create setbacks. It is my prayer that your journey has helped you develop a fuller understanding of God’s work in and through your life so that you might be able to set your face like flint as you continue forward.
Prayer Gracious God, help me walk confidently in the knowledge that you are always with me. AMEN.
