Rose is a bright, 8-year-old girl who was born with spina bifida. Rose needs a wheelchair to get around, but the one she had was breaking down. With no footrests or headrest, and no proper support for her back, her wheelchair was actually hurting her.
Thankfully – because of kind and generous Canadians like you – Rose received the gift of a brand-new wheelchair! She was very excited.
This new chair has all the supports she needs so she can roll comfortably and confidently to school. Thank you for reminding Rose that she is not forgotten – that she is a beautiful, beloved child of God.
Igneous is a two-year-old boy with developmental delays that made it challenging for him to walk on his own.
Thankfully, the Cerebral Palsy Clinic at our partner hospital in Zambia provides physiotherapy for children like Igneous – and much of the clinic’s equipment has been provided through Hope and Healing's Gift-in-Kind program.
