Bernadette was a baby when the doctors suspected she had cataracts, but her family couldn't afford the surgery she needed. For years she tried to navigate the blurry world around her.
Thankfully, a kind Canadian like you paid for surgery to remove Bernadette's cataracts and provided glasses to correct her vision. Now Bernadette can see! She told us, “I can now see better when I look at my book. Even when I walk to do something, I see places. Thank you for fixing my eyes.”

Racia is a little girl with bowlegs. Every day she lived in pain – in her body and heart. Her mom told us, “She says she has pain in her legs. Sometimes [others] beat her. They say Racia is a ‘lame person’.” Racia’s mom tried so hard to get her daughter medical care. But she couldn’t afford it.
Thankfully, a kind friend like you put God’s love in action through a healing hug and gave Racia the medical care she desperately needed. This brave girl finally got surgery to straighten her legs and stop her pain.
