Tamrat was born with a cleft lip and struggled to nurse. As he got older, his teeth grew outside his mouth, so he couldn’t eat most foods.
Due to war in Ethiopia, his mom had to take shelter at a refugee centre with her son. She couldn’t give Tamrat the medical care he needed.
