Each child is worthy of care and love
Our partner hospital in Kenya has been around for over 25 years. They’ve performed over 50,000 corrective surgeries and reached more than 250,000 patients outside the hospital itself. Like us, they’re passionate about serving children who have been excluded and ignored because of their disabilities. Together with our partner, we firmly believe that each child is precious and worthy of care and love.
Located in southern Kenya, our partner hospital opens its doors to all children with disabilities. Your healing hug means that kids with a variety of orthopaedic conditions like clubfoot, osteomyelitis and burn contractures get the vital medical treatment they need.
And the work doesn’t just stay in the hospital. With our partner, we travel up to 500 km to screen and examine patients in remote areas of Kenya and refer those needing surgery to the main hospital.
Completing the Journey
Your healing hug also provides follow-up care like rehabilitation and community education for kids who have received surgery. We do this to make sure each child is on the right track to becoming all that God created them to be. It’s a long road to healing for many of these kids, but we know that with the support of their medical team, families and you, they’ll have a brighter future ahead!
