I start the new year praising you, God! Thank you for your goodness and faithfulness – for your unending love and mercy. I ask that you’d help me to choose gratitude this year, so my life would be a continuous hymn of praise to you.
A Prayer of New Beginnings
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” – Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)
Jesus, thank you for the gift of a new year – a fresh start. Give me faith to know that no matter what last year looked like, you’re still with me and you’re still for me. I thank you for the new thing you’re doing and the path you’ve set before me. Help me to walk with you in 2025.
A Prayer of Blessings

Lord, I ask that you’d help me to see your blessing in every moment this new year. But more importantly, help me to desire you more than anything you could ever do for me. Help me to keep Jesus in my mind and on my heart – your love is the biggest blessing I could ever receive!

Help me, Lord, to remember your promises and who you are in this new year. You’re the only reason I can have hope, and I know you are faithful. In every moment, may your faithfulness be the thing I remember and rely on. Would you be the source of my hope.
A Prayer for my Future
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
God, I thank you for the plan you have for my new year! No matter what comes my way this year, would you always remind me that you have good plans for me. I thank you that you have plans to give me a hope and a future.
